About Lumora Animal Health
Lumora Animal Health is the company behind PawChart. We are building one connected home for a pet's medical story, from the exam room to the living room.

Our story
Andy and his wife, Paige, could not make sense of their own cats' medical records: dozens of pages of fragmented information scattered across veterinary systems, printed invoices, handwritten notes, and email attachments. Two people who loved their pets, and still no clear picture of their health.
“I quickly realized there was no clear, organized way to understand what was actually going on with my pets' health. If I couldn't make sense of it, how were millions of other pet owners supposed to?”
Andy Yim, founder
That frustration sparked PawChart: one clear, continuous record that follows the pet, owned by the family, trusted by the vet.
So we built it. PawChart for pet parents, and a modern operating system for the clinics, boarders, groomers, and rescues who care for the same pet along the way.

Our mission
Give every pet a single, trustworthy medical story, and give every caregiver, from the ER vet to the daycare front desk, exactly what they need to act on it.
What guides us
Not a slogan: five principles, one bar. If a feature cannot clear them, it does not ship.
A record you can actually read.
Plain language for owners, clinical depth for vets, never a wall of jargon or a graveyard of PDFs.
Our journey
Five steps so far. Follow the paw prints.
The turning point
Andy and Paige could not get a clear picture of their own cats’ health from fragmented records spread across systems, invoices, and inboxes. That frustration became Lumora Animal Health.

The founder
Andy Yim is a West Point graduate who served eight years as a US Army Field Artillery officer, with the 2nd Infantry Division, the 101st Airborne, 5th Special Forces Group, and the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, and four deployments to the Middle East. In those units, clarity was not optional. It was mission critical.
He runs Lumora the same way: systems, discipline, and one source of truth, now while pursuing his MBA at The Wharton School. Around him is a bench of engineers and the veterinarians, clinic staff, and rescue teams whose feedback shapes every release, and no feature ships until it clears the CARES bar.
“Time and clarity matter, whether you're in the military or in a medical setting. PawChart is about making sure the right information is available when it matters most.”
